Anderson, Helgen, Davis & Cefalu, PC (“AHDC”) has deepened its employee benefits bench with the addition of associate B. Tyler Philippi. Tyler’s years of experience working for the U.S. Department of Labor offer a unique and critical enhancement for our clients.

Prior to joining AHDC, Tyler’s background also included over five years of significant regulatory compliance in employee benefits, ERISA, and the Affordable Care Act.

This aligns with the Firm’s priority to monitor and anticipate issues that affect our clients. With a heightened awareness as we have transitioned to a new administration, AHDC’s benefits attorneys have the knowledge and skill to handle benefits issues:

Dave Anderson, President and shareholder, concentrates his practice in Taft-Hartley multi-employer and single employer benefit plans. He has represented these types of plans for more than thirty years, with a practice that encompasses many types of plans of all sizes.

Partner and shareholder Cindy Davis has served ERISA and employee benefits clients for over twenty-five years. She has significant experience representing multi-employer and single employer benefit plans and regularly counsels clients on issues including ERISA, HIPAA, PPACA and FMLA.

Amanda Cefalu, partner and shareholder, is an experienced litigator who has been instrumental in helping numerous self-funded and multi-employer benefit plans recoup millions of dollars. She handles protection policies and disputes.

Dave Anderson said, “Our firm was created with a single bold vision to provide personal and practical service by a pool of talented, client-first lawyers. Tyler is a terrific addition to our team. We are pleased he has joined our firm.”

With a broad Midwest reach – and a Midwest sensibility to provide practical legal solutions – our attorneys are admitted in, and serve clients in, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, and Illinois.
